🌿Weather Preparedness
We gather rain or shine! Please check the forecast and dress appropriately. Depending on the day, that may include a raincoat, sunhat, sunscreen, or sturdy boots. Comfort and readiness are key to enjoying your time on the farm.

🌿Terrain and Walking Conditions
Our tour covers approximately 10 acres of diverse farmland. Expect uneven, sometimes muddy ground and overgrown areas with natural plant life. There may be a shallow stream to cross—especially after rain—so supportive, weather-appropriate footwear is strongly encouraged.

🌿Indoor Space
This is an outdoor experience—indoor facilities are not available. Please bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, and help us reduce waste by avoiding single-use plastics. Kindly dispose of any trash or recyclables in the appropriate containers provided.

🌿Restrooms & Handwashing
There are two outhouses available for restroom use. You’ll also find multiple handwashing and potable drinking water stations throughout the farm for your convenience.

🌿Sensory Environment
The farm is a lively place. There may be overlapping conversations, nature sounds, and background noise, depending on the activity and location. If you are sensitive to sound or require accommodations, please let us know in advance.

🌿Guest Participation
This is a medium-interaction experience. While we’ll invite guests to share stories and reflect on their farming or gardening experiences, participation is completely optional. Your comfort is our priority.

🌿Animals on the Farm
We share our space with goats, chickens, friendly (and sometimes vocal) farm dogs, and a few free-range cats. For everyone’s safety, only qualified service animals are permitted in accordance with the ADA.

If you plan to bring a service animal, please email grow@harvestingchange.org at least 5 business days before your visit. Include the type of service animal and the specific task it is trained to perform. Service animals must remain leashed, under control, and away from crops and livestock at all times. Please bring food and water for your animal and poop bags to pick up their dropping with.

🌿Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted. 🌿
