A Place to Learn, Create, Connect & Grow!
At Harvesting Change, we want every visitor to feel welcome, comfortable, and inspired. Whether you’re joining us for a creative workshop, attending an educational class, volunteering, or participating in a community event, our goal is to provide a positive and meaningful experience for everyone.
As we prepare to welcome our community, here’s what you can look forward to!
A Warm & Welcoming Environment
You don’t need any special skills, experience, or knowledge to participate in most of our activities. We believe learning should be enjoyable, creativity should be encouraged, and everyone deserves an opportunity to feel included.
Our activities are designed to bring people together in a friendly, supportive atmosphere where questions are welcome, ideas are valued, and friendships can grow.
Hands-On Learning & Creative Experiences
Depending on the event, you may have opportunities to:
- Explore gardening, seed starting, and sustainable growing techniques.
- Participate in arts, crafts, and creative projects.
- Learn practical skills from community members and volunteer instructors.
- Connect with others who share similar interests.
- Take part in meaningful projects that give back to our community.
Each workshop or event will include information about the activity, recommended age groups, supplies, and any participation requirements.
Before You Arrive
To help make your visit enjoyable, we encourage you to review the details of your scheduled activity.
Some workshops may require advance registration because seating or supplies are limited. Others may welcome walk-in participants when space allows.
Many of our activities are planned to be free or low-cost. If a workshop requires a materials fee, that information will be clearly provided in the event description before registration.
Please check your event details for the location, scheduled time, recommended clothing, and anything you may need to bring.
When You Arrive
For scheduled activities, visitors may be asked to check in with a volunteer or event organizer.
Our team will help direct you to the appropriate activity area and provide information about the workshop or event.
Some activities may require a participation agreement or liability waiver. Children must have appropriate parent or guardian permission, and supervision requirements will be communicated for each event.
We encourage everyone to arrive a few minutes early so activities can begin on time.
Creating a Positive Experience Together
Harvesting Change is committed to creating a respectful, family-friendly environment.
We ask all visitors and participants to:
- Treat others with kindness, patience, and respect.
- Follow activity instructions and applicable safety guidelines.
- Respect shared spaces, supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Encourage creativity and recognize that everyone learns differently.
- Help us maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Most importantly, come ready to learn something new, meet new people, and enjoy yourself!
Everyone Has Something to Share
One of the things that makes Harvesting Change special is our belief that learning goes both ways.
You may arrive hoping to learn a new skill and discover that you have knowledge, creativity, or experience that could inspire someone else.
We encourage visitors to ask questions, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities to become more involved.
We’re Growing โ And You’re Invited!
Harvesting Change is currently developing its programs and working toward establishing a welcoming community learning space.
As workshops, classes, and special events become available, we’ll share schedules, registration information, and locations through our website.
We look forward to the day we can welcome you in person!
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity. Leave inspired.
