π± Growing Together, Respecting Nature & Sharing the Harvest
At Harvesting Change, our garden is more than a place to grow plants. It is a space for learning, discovery, creativity, and community connection.
Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where people of all ages can learn about gardening, explore sustainable growing practices, and experience the joy of growing something from seed to harvest.
To help keep our garden safe, productive, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask all visitors, volunteers, and participants to follow these guidelines.
πΏ 1. Respect Our Garden
Every plant, flower, herb, and vegetable represents time, care, and dedication.
- Stay on designated pathways and activity areas.
- Do not step into garden beds or planting areas.
- Avoid damaging plants, flowers, roots, or garden structures.
- Do not remove plants, seeds, soil, or gardening materials without permission.
- Respect designated demonstration and educational growing areas.
Remember: Our garden is a shared learning space, and every growing plant has a purpose!
π₯ 2. Harvesting & Produce Guidelines
Harvesting is one of the most rewarding parts of gardening, but it must be done responsibly.
- Do not pick vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, or seeds without authorization.
- Harvesting is permitted only during approved activities or with permission from an authorized Harvesting Change representative.
- Some plants may be reserved for educational demonstrations, seed saving, or future growing projects.
- Harvested produce may be distributed through approved programs, community sharing opportunities, or donations to local food assistance organizations.
- Harvest availability and distribution are determined by Harvesting Change and may vary by season.
Please remember: Being a visitor or volunteer does not automatically grant permission to harvest or take produce home.

Proper plant care helps our garden thrive.
- Water plants only when instructed by an authorized volunteer or garden coordinator.
- Do not adjust irrigation systems, hoses, timers, or water storage equipment without permission.
