Come Learn, Create, Connect & Grow With Us!
At Harvesting Change, we believe that meaningful change begins when people come together. Whether you’re interested in attending a workshop, learning something new, sharing your talents, or lending a helping hand, we welcome you to become part of our growing community!
Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals and families of all ages can explore new interests, develop skills, build friendships, and make a positive difference.
Visiting Harvesting Change
We look forward to welcoming community members to our future learning space!
As we continue developing our programs and securing a permanent location, visits and activities will be offered through scheduled workshops, classes, community gatherings, and special events.
Once activities begin, visitors will be able to explore opportunities such as:
- Gardening & Growing: Learn about planting, growing food, herbs, and sustainable gardening practices.
- Arts & Creativity: Enjoy hands-on crafts, rock painting, and creative workshops.
- Educational Programs: Discover practical skills and learn from knowledgeable community members.
- Community Activities: Connect with neighbors, participate in family-friendly events, and share experiences.
Please Note: Harvesting Change is currently in its development phase. Visiting hours, class schedules, and event locations will be announced as programs become available.
Volunteering With Harvesting Change
Your Time. Your Talents. Your Community.
Volunteers are at the heart of what we hope to accomplish!
You don’t need special qualifications or previous experience to make a difference. Whether you have a few hours each month or are available for occasional projects, your willingness to help can have a lasting impact.
Ways You Can Help
- Workshops & Classes: Assist instructors, prepare materials, and help participants during activities.
- Gardening Projects: Help with planting, maintaining demonstration gardens, and educational growing projects.
- Arts & Crafts: Prepare supplies, assist with creative activities, or share your artistic talents.
- Community Events: Help organize, promote, set up, and coordinate special events.
- Fundraising & Donations: Assist with donation drives, community partnerships, and fundraising activities.
- Behind-the-Scenes Support: Help with organizing supplies, administrative tasks, outreach, and preparing our learning space.
Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us move closer to our mission.
Interested in Sharing Your Skills?
Do you enjoy teaching, crafting, gardening, organizing, or helping others learn?
We welcome individuals who would like to share their knowledge and talents by proposing or helping lead workshops and educational activities.
You don’t have to be a professional instructor. Sometimes the most valuable lessons come from neighbors sharing what they know!
All proposed activities are reviewed to ensure they align with the mission and goals of Harvesting Change.
Volunteer Guidelines & Safety
To help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment, volunteers may be asked to complete a volunteer application, sign applicable liability waivers, and participate in an orientation before beginning their activities.
Certain assignments, particularly those involving children or vulnerable individuals, may require additional screening, training, or supervision.
We ask everyone to treat fellow participants, volunteers, and visitors with kindness, patience, and respect.
